Please report back from time to time to see the latest releases.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Garage Door Status Monitor and Remote Controller<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vk2idl.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Intro.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-160\" width=\"639\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vk2idl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Intro.jpg 522w, https:\/\/vk2idl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Intro-300x119.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-normal-font-size\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-gray-color\">A wifi-linked garage door Monitor and controller using an ESP-32 programmable controller module with WiFi, a built-in web server and email client.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-gray-color\">Monitors the status of your garage door from your mobile phone, indicating whether it is open, closed or in the process of opening or closing. <\/span><br><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-gray-color\">Sends an email alert to you if the status changes (i.e. someone opens or closes your garage door).<\/span><br><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-gray-color\">Allows you to open or close your garage door remotely from your phone (requires an additional compatible remote control unit).<\/span><br><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-gray-color\">Emails you if your garage door has been left open for a predetermined period of time. <\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see in the image above, this project is in the final development stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color:#0000ff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">AMSAT Satellite tracking unit<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-gray-color\">A portable device for tracking AMSAT satellites. Rotates your field-based amateur satellite antennas to automatically track any selected AMSAT satellite as it passes overhead. It is now being updated to use stepper motors to make it more robust. The project will include reference details for the light-weight VHF and UHF Antennas I used with this project.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current version of this project uses an Arduino ATmega2560 module with a DS3231 Precision RTC Clock module, a numeric keypad and a colour LCD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">analog\/Digital clock<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A clock with temperature and humidity. Displays local time on a conventional analog dial as well as digital format with day, date and month. Include UTC time with UTC offset setting and switchable Daylight Savings time.
